PHLEGM v6 GUI Resize/Repaint Fix
2026-10-02

Observed regression
-------------------
Resizing the Control / Monitor window or dragging the command-tree splitter could
leave stale TreeView strips and blank/stale rectangles in the CHR-rendered status
and history panes.

Cause
-----
GuiLayoutControls moved every child window with MoveWindow(..., FALSE). The main
window uses WS_CLIPCHILDREN, so the parent repaint cannot repair pixels inside the
new child rectangles. The later selective invalidation was insufficient for a
geometry move and allowed old pixels to remain visible.

Fix
---
- Keep repaint enabled for all child MoveWindow calls in GuiLayoutControls.
- Keep the parent invalidation for strips vacated by moved child windows.
- Preserve the CHR renderer rule: foreground/ON pixels are opaque black and
  background/OFF pixels are transparent.
- Preserve change-driven glyph-cell invalidation for ordinary text changes; a
complete child repaint is requested when control geometry actually changes.

Validation
----------
Static source audit confirms all GuiLayoutControls child moves now request repaint,
and the previous redundant selective invalidations were removed. A FreeBASIC
compiler/runtime toolchain is not present in this execution environment, so native
Win32 runtime validation was not performed here.
